Biography

Lloyd first started his professional career many years ago as a technical illustrator and industrial photographer. This involved creating technical publications and artist impressions for customers Worldwide. He has also designed work for exhibitions, training and promotional material, and did this work for a number of years.

He has always had a passion for photography and art from an early age, processing and printing black and white prints and creating slide shows, often combining art and photography.

For a short while he had a small picture framing business selling and framing original paintings, photographs and prints.

There was a gap of a few years where he had little time for photography owing to personal commitments. He later decided to purchase his first digital camera which rekindled his interest in photography and a desire to produce fine art again and consequently began experimenting with digital imagery.

For several years he has been using Adobe Photoshop to manipulate photographs and produce fine art. The degrees he uses Photoshop varies a lot depending on the subject and the desired effect he is aiming to achieve.
